Monthly Networking Happy Hours – held the 2nd Monday of each month in a different event venue / bar / restaurant. These begin with committee meetings at 5 p.m. moving on to the happy hour / networking opportunity at 6 p.m. These are always free to attend. Bring Business Cards!
Committee Meetings – held at each monthly happy hour. We strongly encourage you to get involved with a committee as you’ll get to know many more members that can help you move your business forward – for just an one hour investment a month. This also gives you a better opportunity to help guide the organization’s growth.
Communications – The cheerleaders of ISES using social media to spread the word about ISES and what great things our members are doing.
Membership – Recruit new members and work to retain our current members
Education & Programs – planning all of our great programs by securing event leads, venues, caterers and photographers
Monthly / Bi-Monthly Education Meetings – held the 4th Tuesday of most every month. These are held either at lunchtime, or in the evening to ensure that we are giving our membership every opportunity to attend. The fee to attend these is $30 for members.
Special Events – held 3 times a year. 1) Holiday Fundraiser for a non-profit charity in December where we join up with NACE 2) A February fundraising event to raise funds for our Scholarship program to send members to EventWorld, the annual ISES educational conference , and 3) Gala / Awards Program in June where we recognize the best of the best in the ISES Austin Event Industry.
