Diane Lyerly is a native Austinite who has no intention of ever leaving this dynamic city.  She is a graduate of The University of Texas with a degree in American History.  Diane spent years in retail management as a buyer and later as a store manager and marketing and special events director at several Austin owned fashion and gift boutiques.  It was during an event that she was decorating for a local NPO where she met Damon Holditch and was directed to join ISES.  Hooked almost the moment she walked into her first meeting, Diane quickly became involved in the organization as a volunteer, board member in charge of fundraising and eventually president.  Through her association with ISES, Diane launched her career in the special events industry by going to work for Austin Party Central in the spring of 2008.  Diane is opening the new north showroom of Austin Party Central in Fall 2008.

   Married with a ten year old daughter and a wonderful husband, Diane lists her many interests as rose gardening, cooking, fitness, travel, reading nonfiction and of course, as everyone knows, shopping.

   Diane's volunteer experiences include being a past member of The Austin Rose Society and consulting rosarian, Board Member of AIDS Services of Austin, co-founder and board member of the Jack Sansing HIV Dental Clinic, Girl Scout Leader for her daughter's scout troop, product procurer & manager of product sales for her daughter's swim team, member of the Balcones Country Club Women's Association and prospective new member of Rotary International.  The Rotary motto of "Service Above Self" is the way Diane lives her life and the legacy she hopes to pass on to her daughter
