VP Ed/Programs

Cheryl is a native Austinite with a Bachelor of Science in Management/Human Resources. Cheryl grew up among a family of entrepreneurs and learned early on the importance of customer service and satisfaction. Coupled with 14 years of training and experience in the corporate world (Motorola/Lockheed/ DELL/ DELL MEXICO) anticipating client’s needs; meeting strict deadlines; problem solving; counseling; dealing with adversity, laying the foundation for a career in corporate event planning.

Cheryl’s businesses Custom Décor and A Balloon Affair provide event planning and balloon decorations for tradeshows; corporate events; sales meetings; manager offsite training facilitation; theme gatherings and various social events including weddings and quinceaneras.

Cheryl serves on the Board of Directors of the Buda Area Chamber of Commerce and is a member of the Qualatex Balloon Network in addition to being the VP-Education & Programs, ISES Austin Chapter. Cheryl has also served as the Fundraising Chair for the Hays CISD PTSO and is currently on the Project Graduation Committee for Hays CISD.
