Chapter Historian
Bill Bastas Photographer's studio, established in 1987, is celebrating 20 years of serving the Austin area with fine photography. A veteran of well over 600 weddings and special events, Bill is considered one of the most sought after event photographers in Central Texas.
Bastas is past president and chairman of the board of the
Professional Photographers Guild of Austin, as well as being named
2000 Photographer of the Year in Austin. In addition he has earned many dozens of photographic awards, both locally and nationally. Bill has also served on the board of
AWEC. Currently, Bill serves on the Board of Directors for
Westlake Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Catering Executives, and
ISES and is the
Director of Austin Fine Arts Alliance for the Austin Fine Arts Festival.
Bill's studio is located in the heart of Westlake on Bee Cave Road, where his specialty is fine portraiture — including families, animals, babies and fine art.
